Our way of capping our weekend escapade at Tarlac and Pampanga a few days ago... yummy halo-halo from Pampanga's Razon's.

    i am drooling...i badly want to eat halo halo for like days now. max's and chowking cannot satisfy my craving for the perfect one and i was just imagining razon's and then this post. :-) now i have to get back into dreaming of eating by looking at your photo.

    I remember tasting my first Razon. That was when we went to travel to Tarlac because of the christening of my uncle's daughter. Too bad I didn't get to enjoy it that much. I guess because of pregnancy hormones that time. My taste buds are not into anything :(

School and a Mixed Bag of Emotions

Even with the (remaining) 9 year old son at home, doing his usual stuff alternately watching tv, tinkering with his Legos, cutting/ folding/ creating things with paper and playing with the iPad, and making a ruckus all by his lonesome, the house is, weirdly, quiet. I often find myself introspecting... about the nest almost empty now and other similar thoughts. And I struggle to stop myself from wallowing in a mixed bag of emotions. It's not a bad thing, except, I could waste hours doing that. I thought I was totally in control and could dismiss the situation as another milestone, like seeing your child lose his first baby tooth. Nothing a warm hug or an ice cream could not fix. by Linnor When the boys are home, their room doesn't stay as orderly as the pic above.  Mistulang binagyo kapag silang lahat ay nasa loob ng kanilang asul na kwarto. :) Merong nag-gigitara, merong nagko-kompyuter at merong naglalaro ng Lego.  Sa madaling sabi, pag nasa silid sila, talagang di maiiwasan ang pagiging makalat nito.  :P Anyway, at least nasa bahay lang sila at hindi nagbabarkada sa labas. Pero sa totoo lang, after a long day at work or from school, it's always nice to come home to a clean house.  Ang sarap magpahinga sa maayos na kabahayan pagkatapos ng mahabang araw  di ba?
