071819 The sons at Saud Beach, Pagudpud 10 years ago. They were aged 15, 12 and 5 years old then. The youngest one silently sat by the shore and longingly watched his siblings play in the sea. He wanted to join them splash, swim and frolic before sunset. He was told (repeatedly) to just play in the sand because he had his swim at Kabigan Falls earlier in the day. We were worried he might catch a cold for over-exposure. Quite reluctantly, he did obey. This 5 year old boy, young and gung ho as he was then, was wise enough not to have any fit. Looking back now, none of the boys had bratty outbursts when they didn’t have their way. I’m really pleased they took after their Pa in that aspect. via Tumblr

We didn't use a face app or aging filter in reverse for this.  Lol.  This is really an old photo taken during the summer of 2009 when the sons still had chubby cheeks and layer of pinchable fat. That day the hubby drove a borrowed Crosswind from my Pa on our way to visit the provinces of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur. The drive alone was 8-12 hours long depending on the traffic. It took us less than 4 days. We toured the sights of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Vigan, then drove up to Laoag, Burgos, Bangui, Pagudpud and down again to Paoay before heading back to Las Piñas. This is the wind farm along the coastline of Bangui Bay in the municipality of Bangui.  It is the first in the Philippines and Southeast Asia and has a capacity to generate up to 33MW. via Tumblr

071219 Keep calm even during this Mercury retrograde 1. Anxiety attacks with no trigger this week. Menopause woes. 2. A parcel from Ninjavan is still undelivered (2 weeks since ordered). 3. PLDT’s fiber connection has been down (4 days and we were told restoration is after a week). Not good for work-at-home productivity for the hubby and son. 4. Foodpanda’s delivery was incomplete even after I have paid in full, their live chat service was lousy. 5. And this boy riled me up big time today. How’s your July week 2 so far? via Tumblr
via IFTTT , 070819 Sometimes we need to do some reminiscing and remember the way we loved our spouse at the beginning of our marriages, the simplicity and sweetness of it, before the kids came along, before the layers of hurt, before life got complex and the responsibilities exponentially increased. We need to think through what it was like to enjoy those moments of affection and intimacy, when we looked forward to every interaction, and there was no other place we wanted to be except in each other’s arms. - from Teach With Joy. 070619 Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate, also called Saint Nicholas Cathedral, is where Princess Grace (Kelly) and Prince Rainier Grimaldi are buried.  The church sits on the site of the first parish church in Monaco built in 1252 and dedicated to Saint Nicholas. 070419 See that smile? I put it there. That line didn’t really come from me… or him. JFK said that about Jackie. Jerry could have easily said the same thing about me, because that’s just how it felt as soon as he texted me: “Landed. See you at home!” 💁🏻‍♀️ via Tumblr

070119 A lesson on filial piety for our sons. You leave home to seek your fortune and, when you get it, you go home and share it with your family. —Anita Baker via Tumblr
