Work
I was admiring and ogling at the diamond jewelry on display at Oro China when the bugger asked. "Why don't you buy, Ma?" "They're expensive", I replied. "I will have to get work to afford that". "But you are a housewife!", he quipped. Aww... Nobody said being a homemaker is not work. Right? "You can still sell something!" 😆
A different take on "meatless"
While thinking of where to grab meatless lunch, I caught a glimpse of CNT Lechon restaurant. "Let's have lunch there!" I taunted hubby and son. "Let's go!" Son agreed and added "lechon skin is not meat anyway." I wonder where he got the idea...
I have very little tolerance for waiting as I believe it's unfair to waste another person's time. Waiting for 2 hours for our boy's soccer practice to end was spent taking orders, paying bills and credit cards, finishing the novena, chatting with hubby and friends and sneaking in a few stretches and quiet time. 🙏👍
