032418 We drove about 1.5 hours north of Cebu today to the mountains of Carmen and viewed some flora and fauna. I had mixed feelings about the animals in captivity but I was impressed at the work the park developers did to make the place as natural as possible. 032018 Last Sunday, this boy had this once in a blue moon treat of ice cream topped with chocolates and wrapped in cotton candy. He burned it off by playing basketball with friends the following morning. As for me, I mooched some of the choco bits from his cup and was sedentary the following daaay. In the morning, while the hubbies were at work, we were at the Centre for Women (on International Women’s Day 😜) where we had our annual mammo-sono. It’s been a yearly thing for M and I for the past 3 years and it’s nice to have company whom I can talk to about lady things. 030418 At this morning’s mass, it was one small community of families where everyone knew (or was related to) everyone. My extended family, my cousins and family, my in-laws and cousins of in-laws, and hubby and our sons’ friends’ families were there. And those we didn’t know were not strangers at all, since we see each other most Sundays of the year. It’s the kind of “small town” environment that gives me the warm and fuzzies I like.
