Trying To Make Waves

Either the bendy rollers are ineffective or my hair is hopelessly straight. LOL. Maybe I should leave them for more than 2 hours. :)

During dinner, Kyle, our 16yo son, arrived from his outreach activity... He proceeded to kiss me...

Me : Hi... Do you notice anything? (I flipped my hair to flaunt the soft waves)
Kyle: Huh?
Kyle: Ah...Oh! You colored your hair?
Me : Anuba, kainis naman...

    There are hairs that are really straight. My wife have hairs like that. She can't even enjoy a curly look for longer hours.

    same here! if i plan to use non-heated curlers (sponge curlers) i have to do it early morning pa lang like 7hrs before a party! hahahaha i haven't curled my hair in years! i kinda don't like the heated curlers kasi unless i really really need to use it then i will otherwise sa inis ko na ang tagal mag curl i dont do it na lang LOL

    Hahaha! Sometimes, men are just simply clueless. My hair is also stubborn when it comes to curling. It resists with all the straightness it could muster lol!

School and a Mixed Bag of Emotions

Even with the (remaining) 9 year old son at home, doing his usual stuff alternately watching tv, tinkering with his Legos, cutting/ folding/ creating things with paper and playing with the iPad, and making a ruckus all by his lonesome, the house is, weirdly, quiet. I often find myself introspecting... about the nest almost empty now and other similar thoughts. And I struggle to stop myself from wallowing in a mixed bag of emotions. It's not a bad thing, except, I could waste hours doing that. I thought I was totally in control and could dismiss the situation as another milestone, like seeing your child lose his first baby tooth. Nothing a warm hug or an ice cream could not fix. by Linnor When the boys are home, their room doesn't stay as orderly as the pic above.  Mistulang binagyo kapag silang lahat ay nasa loob ng kanilang asul na kwarto. :) Merong nag-gigitara, merong nagko-kompyuter at merong naglalaro ng Lego.  Sa madaling sabi, pag nasa silid sila, talagang di maiiwasan ang pagiging makalat nito.  :P Anyway, at least nasa bahay lang sila at hindi nagbabarkada sa labas. Pero sa totoo lang, after a long day at work or from school, it's always nice to come home to a clean house.  Ang sarap magpahinga sa maayos na kabahayan pagkatapos ng mahabang araw  di ba?
