Keep safe po. It was another terrifying event. Kakatapos lang sa Luzon ni Santi ngayon naman earthquake in Visayas and some part in Mindanao. I will include everyone there in my prayers. I know how it feels to experience earth quake and aftershocks. May God protect you and your family.
I, too, really hope and pray that you and your family, together with all the Boholanos and Cebuanos are all safe wherever you are. I know the feeling, I can still vividly remember the earthquake way back in July 16, 1990, I was 9 (almost 10 yo) then pero the memory is still in my mind until this very day. It was also intensity 7 in Pangasinan where I was that time. The quake was very traumatic, hundreds of aftershocks, nakakatakot. Lots of structures and houses were destroyed but thank God, we survived. I know, you all can, too. God is good.
oh, i remember that 1990 quake too. that was also strong even if the epicenter was far from manila. now we are getting edgy and jumpy at the slightest vibration. thanks for inckuding us in your prayers!

It's not a bad thing, except, I could waste hours doing that. I thought I was totally in control and could dismiss the situation as another milestone, like seeing your child lose his first baby tooth. Nothing a warm hug or an ice cream could not fix. On the contrary, that hug at this time just exacerbates the yearning. It ...
Looking at old photos is becoming my favorite activity to pass time. Thanks to popular memes on instagram and the instant access to pictures at flickr, I get to dig them up, view them and be transported back in time... in a snap.
My guilt-free recipe is made of 2 whole avocados, low-fat milk and Superfoodgrocer's coconut sugar (to taste). The picky-eater son loved it. A serving of fruit for the day = mission accomplished.
Ms. Linnor, I seriously hope you and your family are all fine. I'm praying for the Boholanos and Cebuanos. No strong aftershocks please.
ReplyDeletethanks marie! :)
