Dory Paksiw With Ampalaya And Eggplant


Have you tried this?  Imagine the explosion of flavors - slightly salted, sour, and a bit bitter (from the gourd/ ampalaya).  I am not skilled in the kitchen (up to now), so I won't be writing about the "how to".  Anyway... 

We used to cook ours without the veggies until we were served this at a friend's place months ago.  Since then, it has become a weekly staple.  Yum!
